Can anyone advise me as to how I go about getting my electrical certificates certified. I have been asked to send originals or certified copies of certificates or letters stating my qualifications and work experience. Does it have to be by a solicitor?? If so does it cost?? Or can it be done by anyone else ie Police / Upstanding person (like passports)??
I am dubious about sending originals of certificates although letters would not be a problem. If letters are to be certified, do the people that write them have to be present when it's certified as a copy or can it be done in their absense??
Thanks

Hi Nick,
Speak to your local Citizens Advice Bureau and ask if they have a JP (justice of the peace) on staff. They will usually do it for free with a small charge for photocopying!
