Dear Alasdair,
I would suggest that you check out the New Zealand web site
as it has very detailed information about how you may may migrate to New Zealand
Its at http://www.immigration.govt.nz/
The following are the main categories for residence applications:
Business
Family
Skilled Migrant Category
Unless you have considerable financial resources at your disposal, and relevant business experience, its hard to qualify under the business cateogory.
The family quota in brief , is for people who are married to NZ citizens or holders of NZ residency who wish to bring in their partners.
Without any formal qualifications, its hard to apply under the Skilled Migrant Category. Check if you have any trade certificates or diplomas that are perhaps in the NZIS list of recognised qualification.
If you can get a job offer, you may apply for a work visa but this does not guarantee residency, and only allows you to work legally in NZ.
It will be difficult to get a job from NZ when you are overseas unless your area of work is a skill desperately needed in NZ.
Check out websites like www.seek.co.nz for the available jobs.
Your forms will need to be sent to London and contacts are:
New Zealand Immigration Service
NZ House
80 Haymarket
London
SW1Y 4TE
UNITED KINGDOM
Office Hours:Hours open to the public:10am-3:45pm Monday to Friday
regards

Thank you Abdul for the informations. I saw the site you had mentionated but it was a little fuzzy for me because I didn't observe where I should send the aplication files .Thank you also for the address from London.
In fact I wanna ask if there is a diference in the imigration proces for those who comes from comonwealth ,UK etc..and others coming from a non eu.community country.
I know it will be hard for me to get the residence because of my low level skilled work but ,I will try anyway.Hmmm who knows? But Iam thinking to search for a job in NZ, no mather how hard will be,it seems those from UK and USA have the same problem. Thanks again and have nice and happy New Year -Alaisdar |

Alaisdar
There is no special treatment for people from the commonwealth , the EU or from non EU.
NZ Immigration counts on the relevant merits using the migrant policies
that are current under government migration policies.

| alaisdar, i don't want to be unkind but, realistically, you will need to improve your english before you would reach the standard to get residence in nz. still, where there's a will there's a way. |
