Hi Timbo,
crime in Christchurch is a big problem as in any city, as anyone living in some parts of the city will tell you. P factorys are always getting raided, the police are over stretched and too busy giving out speeding tickets, and never far away from the drug problem comes theft be it houses or cars, plus Prostitution "Manchester street", and other areas, protection rackets.
I'm afraid Christchurch has them all, it's no different than some parts of the UK.
