I read in the Herald that Dunedin is experiencing growth at the moment, and needs more tradespeople. We are travelling over to the South Island in possibly in May, and this would be one place we would be looking in. Another plus is (I think) the house prices are slightly cheaper?
Has anyone got any views???

Hi

My hubbie and I are moving to Dunedin end April; I am on POL and got a job at Dunedin Hospital - he will look for one later on ; inititally being househusband!

The Council will send you lots of info and CD on the town and area; answer questions etc on their website. Dunners is regarded as a nice place to live, small enought to be friendly and housing is still pretty cheap. All our dealings with the hospital etc have been very friendly and helpful+++

Lots of websites about Dunedin & Otago area - also as you say, there are recruitments ongoing for tradespeople to go there.

Good Luck

Ruth
