Hi - can anybody tell me what happens if you submit an EOI with 195 points but then at the point of selection, you have hit 40 years and effectively lost 5 precious points? Is the important thing how many points you have when you submit EOI - in my case December? I can't find any info on this anywhere. It seems unfair to delete points as I am a month older than when the EOI was submitted!

I, too, would love to know the answer to this one, as I raced to complete my application for submittal (on Jan. 31) before my 45th birthday (groan - for the loss of points!) on Feb. 6. Uhoh

HI all

My understanding is everyhting freezes at time of lodgement.

You can be 39 for another 3 months longer, in the pool.

Yes, but will it be reviewed as part of the verification process after selection but before an Invitation to Apply is issued?

Cheers,

No, I think at time they accept you into the pool is when it all freezes.

Cheers
