Greetings to all potential New Zealand immigrants!

I've just finished reading an excellent book that is a "must have" for anyone considering moving to NZ! Yes

"Living and Working in New Zealand" by Mark Hempshell.

(And no, I'm not his brother)! Laughing

It covers just about everything you can imagine from finding a job, permits and visas, accommodations, education/schools, driving, health, insurance, sports...you name it! It's mostly geared to folks moving to NZ from the UK/Europe and the U.S. but would be great for anyone.

One caution, even though it's now a "2nd Edition", it was published in 2002 and is a bit dated with regard to immigration laws, particularly the Skilled Emigrant Category (which has been completely revamped since publication). Other than that, it's a very good reference and a bit of a funny read.

Found it on amazon.com... http://www.amazon.com (It was back ordered for a month, so be patient) It's probably sold elsewhere as well.

It cost about $20 USD incl. shipping and is worth every penny.

Just thought I'd pass this along...good Karma and all. comfort

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is the book tht they sent to me in the info pack when my PR visa application was accepted. Mind, that was a few years back and things have changed, so don't get too excited ..........
