Hi all -
I have friends who have just returned from NZ telling me the exchange rate they were getting was £1 = $3.40. Anybody explain this is it seems to conflict all stories on the forum. On one day approx.. 3 weeks ago they managed $3.51 All I've heard is $2.6 - $2.8. |

| Since they were in N.Z. I suspect they are actually talking about how many pounds or pence to the dollar. e.g. $1=34p. That would give dollar to pound exchange rate of around 2.94 which is what it was a few weeks ago. |

| I concur with Richard. In recent history the Kiwi dollar reached its weakest point against the pound about 2-3 years ago when it was NZ$3.3=£1, however it is currently trading at about 2.85 =£1. Back around Christmas time it was very strong and trading at about 2.65 = £1. |
