Hi feeble.
Thats about it but you don't need medical and police certificates for work visas up to 2 years only if you are applying for a 3 year visa. Bank statements are only relevant if your partner is applying for a work visa as proof of stable relationship.
As I said I was impressed at how helpful immigration were and how quick the whole process has been.
Good luck

Hey thanks Michelle. What's the difference between a 2 or 3 year work visa...besides the duration of course.
I guess I didn't do my homework properly |

If you are applying for residency as well, and just want the work visa for the interim, you may as well go for one for 2 years as it's obviouslya quicker process without he need for the medicals. If you're not intending to stay permanently, I guess it's just a case of how long you plan on staying in NZ. I'm sure you can extend it in due course if you decide you want to stay longer. Three years is the maximum you can apply for but I think you can apply for another when the 3 years is up, although if you're staying that long you may as well go for residency!
Hope this helps.
