Can anybody tell me what the fee is to lodge an EOI? We are based in the UK applying for skilled migrant status. 2 adults and 3 children. Where do the forms have to be sent to?
What other fees will need to be paid apart from the EOI one?
I think I have read to much in the past few days and everything is starting to go fuzzy
Thanks!

The forms must be sent to Wellington NZ. I don't think you can use regitered mail because its a PO Box Number so use the best available UK air mail service.
The EOI fee is NZ$ 315.00 for paper applications received up until 31st Jan 2004 and NZ$ 465.00 after that date.
You will be able to apply on-line in early February 2004 and the fee will be NZ$315.00 for on-line applications and NZ$465.00 after that date.
Other fees are shown in the schedule of fees on the NZIS website and include fees for the visas/permits and a migrant levy. Special rates apply to family groups on a single application.
Skilled Migrant NZ$1360, Migrant Levy NZ$500.00 / family maximum.

Your partner and children do not have to make any seperate applications or pay any other fees provided they are included in your application.

Thanks for that Karl, I was just getting a little bogged down by it all and was getting confused by all the categories etc!

the other fees that you would have to pay would be for your medicals, each family member has to have one but only adults have to have the x ray. That works out quite pricey and there is a small fee for the police search too. Veronica

Hi Traci,
Sorry if the foll is already what you know
Make sure that you fill out separate EOI Child Supplementary forms for each child aged under 25 years, along with your main EOI.
These forms available from http://www.immigration.govt.nz/NR/rdonlyres/0F50885F-4FBD-4EEC-9799-59C3177C513D/0/1103.pdf
I would leave doing the medicals until you have been invited to apply for residence. As Veronica had stated, they are expensive and medicals will only be accepted if they are less than 3 months old.
Police reports are accepted by NZIS if they are less than 6 months old.
I had obtained one from the Metropolitan Police and costs GBP 10 per report. You need to get an application form delivered by post for you to fill out and post back with the payment. They have a ref number that is handwritten on each application form, so obtaining just 1 form and doing photocopies doesn't help.
regards

Just a query, can you take applications under the family category straight up to London and drop it in at the office complete with medicals, police reports and filled in application forms etc or do these have to go to Wellington? Is the Wellington option only for EOI forms?

Following on from above, can you take any applications once compleated up to London or now do they have to all go to Wellington - is it just EOI's that head overseas?
