I am a junior doctor, my husband is an electronic engineer. We want to move out to NZ next year and think it would be best if at least one of us arranged a job before we went. I can only find jobs for doctors posted on the BMJ website via agencies and I wondered if that was how medical jobs were organised in NZ or whether I am just looking in the wrong place?

Andrea,

I haven't a clue how medical jobs are advertised, so I'm not sure if this site will be of any use, but here goes:

http://www.southerndoctor.net/

If it isn't, or even if it is, it may be worth doing a search on the web for medical jobs in NZ.

Good luck.

Hi we went to the emigrate NZ type of show in London last year and there were agencies there who only dealt with medical, I'm sure they would be delighted to see you there. If I can find any further details I wil email them to you
