Ok, so I still can't find the post from the person who took their application to NZIS, all fancy and organised, and had it approved in 3 days :(
Sooo..... those of you who have submitted, particularly partnership applications, can you advise on the format of your submission?? eg a box full of loose stuff in date order / a binder with dividers for each type of document???
Thanks!!! |

I sponsored my partner just recently under the Partnership category.
On 21 July, he dropped off his PR application and documents to NZ House. We provided a covering letter listing all the documents included, plus a photocopy of everything. It does say somewhere (I think on a fact sheet from NZIS website) not to put the documents in plastic wallets, so we didn't. We left all the documentation loose, but in the order that we listed them in the covering letter.
We got an acknowledgement letter on 6 August from NZIS to say that the application was due to be assigned to a case officer.
Today, 11 August, we received another letter from NZIS saying the application was "Approved in Principle" subject to payment of the Migrant Levy of £115. So, payment just needs to be sent off for that and then they will return the passport with the Permanent Residence permit. |
