| I live in Ontario and have always wanted to live in New Zealand.I dont have a job offer but have a degree in Social Work and Addictions Counselling.I am going to visit a friend and taking my children. What are my chances of being able to live there permanently.I am moving for one reason,to get out of Canada. |

Community social worker is on the Priority Occupations List. If you have the qualifications, I'd think your chances are excellent! |

Hi Dan
Good luck with you new life in New Zealand come September. I hope all goes well.
How did you get yourself a work permit? Did you go down and secure yourself a job? If so how did you do it? How many times did you go down to New Zealand? What field are you in?
We are planning to do some investigating in December when we go down but am not sure how to go about the whole thing.
Keep in touch and have a great trip.
Laurie |
