This may be of interest to some. Can't say I've ever heard of the company before. Good news for Christchurch. Wonder how many jobs it will bring?
Christchurch is to reap the benefits from the establishment of a leading international consultancy's global IT services in the city.
Engineering and environmental consultant MWH has announced it has selected Christchurch as the base for its new IT operations.
Based in Denver, Colorado, the company has engineered, constructed and financed some of the world's most technologically significant projects.
An MWH spokesperson says New Zealand stood out as a high-quality, cost-effective place from which to operate a global business.
He says the new IT unit will provide information, communication and technology services to 6,500 specialist employees operating in more than 35 countries.
