Filled out my EOI today, claimed 125 points, lost 5 points becuase I only have 9 years and 6 months exp in my job.

Will I be ok for the 18th August selection ?

How does this work, if you're selected do you get a e-mail pretty much then and there ?

Do you think 125 points will be enough ?

Sorry for these dumb newbie questions, but I'm just kinda excitied

The last pull was 115 points.

Hopefully the selection point will remain the same for you or lower for the 18th.

If it does and your points are calculated correctly you should in theory be selected.

Your on-line status will change within a day or two - ours did. Then NZIS will confirm in writing that you have been selected.

NZIS will then verify the information you have supllied. i think they are quoting up to 8 weeks for verification.

They will then issue an 'Invitation to Apply' At this point you will supply them with documentary evidence, medicals and police checks.

NZIS will then process this information and if happy you will be granted PR.

We are at the last stage and eagerly awaiting our passports.
