hi everyone.
i am working in germany from last 2 1/2 years on german work permit for IT experts now i am planning to move to new zealand. can any one suggest which will be the best way to do that. i am a pakistani national .

i want to apply for skilled migrant cateogry . my wife is still in pakistan and she is a doctor but soon will join me here.

i am not aware with the procedure so any suggestion would be helpfull.

it would be nice if someone give me a guideline for the process.

Hi Nadeem

Send an Expression of Interest to apply under the skilled migrant Category to the NZ Immigration office in Wellington with the payment.

hi abdul,
thanks for the reply , i have checked the website and check the point system , do u have any idea about any sites or way to get a job offer to get extra points . my wife is a doctor so it might be a possibiity for her as well to get a job offer .

Try the job sites listed on the Kiwi Careers webpage

Most prospective employers require an interview face to face or by telephone.

Check also if the qualifications that you both hold are on the NZIS list of recognised qualifications. If not , you will need to have them assessed by the NZQA. ( NZ Qualifications Authority) and your wife will need NZ registration to practice.
