Hi John
christchurch is fab! I love it here - so much to do and see - I just wish it wasn't so cold! Mind you - this is nothing compared to UK winters. If I had central heating in my house, I would be a happy woman!
Have bought a lovely house - busy now planning colour schemes etc - have got my husband painting every spare moment as I just cannot live with pumpkin orange walls! I oversee proceedings from my armchair whislt reading NZ Homes and Gardens!
I still feel very homesick - it has been very bad at times- I have almost got on a plane to just go over and see my family for 2 weeks. If I had all my loved ones here, the life would be just perfect
How are things with you?

Hi Susan,
I'd like to get our parents here but fortunately homesickness hasn't been a problem for any of us. The wife and kids have a much better life here than they ever could in the UK. Could you wear a t-shirt in mid-winter anywhere in the UK? Well maybe in Geordieland. |
