I just called and spoke to someone in the immigration office and told him about my son having 5 seizures but other than that he functioned like every other kid and he asked me if he might be state dependent.I said no and he said that it would probably be fine. After I got off the phone I started wondering, does being on medication mean being dependent on the state? Does anyone know? according to the doctors after one more year they'll stop the medication and hopefully he will never have another seizure.
Thanks for any input!

I would think that if a gov't agency doesn't pay for the meds, you're golden |
