Hi
We are going in September for 6 months to look for jobs and would prefer the South Island. However, I notice many engineering job vacancies in Christchurch area but not many IT jobs - anyone out there know if IT professionals are generally in demand in C.Church, is it a growth a area or would we be better looking elsewhere - we don't want to move to Auckland.

most IT work will be in wtgn & akl.
you could try the hospitals, uni etc, but will be lower pay of course. |
