Hi Karl

Have just read your profile and realised you were a Chemist!! Oh my word, you must be clever!! I am studying a Bioscience and Microbiology course at the moment and I am struggling MASSIVELY with the chemistry! It is such a hidous subject! Who cares about atoms, whether they share their electrons or have hydrogen bonds?? Dreadful stuff! Do you understand this? Do you actually work as a chemist? Are you mad?

Back to the books...

I agree with you who cares about all the bonds atoms etc as long as it all works. Why do we have to study it!

I agree with Mrs Karl - who cares about atoms etc - why do we need to know as long as it works! I am studying chemistry as part of biocience - it is only basic stuff but I just can't understand it! have decided I am really really thick as I have bought x 2 books on chemistry - the idiots guide to ....and chemistry for dummies but I still can't grasp the basics!

My admiration for you knows no bounds!! Clapping
