| I am currently trying to link up with some LDS in NZ. We are coming on holiday in October and need info about wards. This is hopefully the start of a new chapter in our lives... My hubby isn't convinced about moving yet so I am hoping that this will open up his eyes a little. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I could be wrong, but I think it stands for 'Latter-Day Saints'. Did a quick search on Google and that's what it came up with anyway! Could be something completely different though! |

| Members of the Church of Latter Day Saints are known as LDS, and more commonly as Mormons. |

I grew up in So. California, half of my friends on the water polo team were Mormons. Every year the took me up to Park City Uah to ski. I am not a Mormon, but they are with out a doubt the friendliest people I have ever met.
And then I went to New Zealand and met a few people, and thought WOW these are the nicest people I have ever met.
But a New Zealand Mormon has to be the greatest combo ever.
I have a standing policy that says Mark Madson is the only Pro-Basketball player that has permision to date my daughter.
Anyways, I hope you don't have to say LDS in New Zealand, unless of course that is what you prefer. You have a beatiful religion. New Zeland and you should be a perfect fit
God bless and make it to N.Z, tell your husband that it is right, two days on soil and you will feel it. |

This was my first posting on the site and I was sooooo surprised to see so many responses. I thought I was going to be one of the ones with a zero rating....
Kiwi - thanks for confessing! An email is on the way.
Anyway - hopefully I will brave anserwing others now that I have a little more confidence.
By the way how do you all get pictures next to your names? My name looks so boring without a wee (that is Scottish for small) tag! |

Hi Tefal,
Go to top of page and select profile, on this page select and "AVATAR" from the selection or browse your own pic's and select this. Apply and thats it! Just edit your other details as and when they change!
Karl
PS Did you chose "Tefal" because you're a deep fat friar |
