What is decile rating? I can't find it in my dictionary...

| Decile rating is a 1 to 10 scale. Decile 10 means economically most advantaged - usually these schools are very white or white with asian. Decile 1 means the most economically disadvantaged. These are usually schools with predominantly maori or pacific island kids. The ERO site gives decile ratings for all of New Zealand's schools. |

| Loads of stuff on this link all about schools, etc. www.minedu.govt.nz Seems odd that I chanced on it as my kids are all grown up. Might give some help to you with ankle biters and bigger. |
