Dear All
Does anyone know if you can ride a motorcycle on a british licence?
What is the off road riding like near Christchurch?

| Hi Tara, as far as I know, it's the same as for cars which means you've got one year max. before you need to pass the NZ written test. You don't need to sit the practical test. I had a motorbike licence in the UK but I didn't bother getting one in NZ. |

hi ya ,,jcm is correct i e-mailed nz dept of transport to ask this very question, i have full uk bike/car and pcv licenses,
you have to take the multi choice questions within the year to update your license, great biking roads in nz by the way.
