Hi could anyone tell me the approximate salary range of a G grade nurse in NZ, within the Auckland area if possible.
Thanks, Jam. |

Hi jam,
Can't help you with the salary range but I think nurses and other public sector workers (certainly teachers - I've checked) are paid the same regardless of location. There's no 'Auckland allowance' similar to the 'London allowance' in the UK. So whether you work in Invercargill or central Auckland the pay is the same. |

Hi Jam,
We are heading for the North Shore too hopefully in March! Regarding holiday's, most contracts give you 15 days per annum and you get 'sickies' (sick days) specified in your contract about 10 per year max and the culture used to be to take these as holidays, add to that about 11 days for public holidays and thats about it I think.
Salaries...haven't clue for your profession but as a rule of thumb expect about 20-30% less than in the UK across the board. |
