Are there any NZ truckers or somebody who knows the haulage industry in NZ who can help with this question?
What are the rules and regs a Heavy Truck driver in NZ has to abibe to eg: drivers hours, breaks, and rest periods, do they use tachographs or is the logbook still being used to log this info?
Here in Europe you are governed by the authorities eg: 4 1/2, driving, 45 min rest. 9 hrs driving in 1 shift 3 times a week. 2 10hr drives twice a week. There is more but it gets confusing.
Can a NZ Trucker shed some light for a UK Trucker who is hoping to migrate soon.
