Howdy folks - I wanted to ask the message board a favor: I recently got a job offer from Wellington. The job appears to be a pleasant one. The offer is for about 70 NZ per annum. Does this seem to be in line with what people in that area make (coming from an expensive-to-live-in part of the US these seems low). Also can someone give me a closest-US equivalent to life in Wellington (I know the fact that it is windy makes Chicago a natural choice) but life in Wellington seems to have a unique flavor unlike anything in the USA. Any advice or observations? Anyone in a similar situation? Just curious for thoughts.
