I am new to this, so please forgive the probably ever so slightly stupid question, but here goes:

We are a family of five: two adults and three children under 6 years old.

Do both adults have to score over 12 on the points system based on the investment based immigration criteria, or is it the sum total of the family?

Hi David and welcome on board. I think that only one of you has to acheive pass mark as you only have to have one principal applicant. This may be wrong. Best person to ask is probably Jamie Smith.Look up his profile and send e-mail or PM

Thanks Tim,

We are not far from you - in Send, Woking.

There are three families in our village in the process of emigrating to NZ.

Just think if that was replicated across the whole of the UK!

Judging by the number of people we know who are either going or want o go, I think it is going to be a case of last one out, please switch off the lights.
Good luck.

i think it's always been like this but getting worse over the last few years. still there always seem plenty of kiwis and aussies who go the other way. come to make a bit of money in london and see the mother country with plans to return down under then meet someone, marry them and stay in blighty for ever.
