Hi Folks,
Just got word from NZIS London by email that our PR has been approved in principle subject to paying our migrant levy (£115 per person).
This took 4 weeks from NZIS London recieveing our document bundle...not bad!
Our time scales
Began our application under GSC July 2003 and was caught out by the category closure.
Began our second application under IGSC rules after getting another set of medicals, police reports and you guessed it we were caught a second time by closure of the category in November 2003
Submitted our EOI on paper 21st December 2003
Travelled on LTWV to NZ on 21st March 2004
Selected from the EOI pool in June 2004
Submitted document bundle to NZIS London (after a Faux Pas by NZIS Wellington whci actually played to our hand for a change)
Approved in Principle 30th July 2004.
Cheers all....Just going to open a bottle of Cab-Sav to celebrate!

Congratulations Karl - I'm so pleased for you :o)
Wish mine would hurry up. Heard the other day that the Consultant Physician requires further information before I can get any further :o(
Nice one.
All the best,
Evelynne |

Hi Karl
It is great to see that residence stamp in your passport! You can breathe a big sigh of relief that all that work and stress has been worth it!
