Hi all,

Sorry if I'm asking a silly question (still generally at the lurking stage) - but tried a search on 'PR time limits' and, yep, you guessed it, got almost every thread under the sun (must work at refining my search techniques).

Looking at the points level I am tempted to apply soon - which is much sooner than anticipated!

Pencilled a fact/job finding trip to NZ for Feb 05 when it seemed I must get that 'scarlet pimpernel' of a Job Offer! However, now it's down to 115 might be able to scrape in without - yippeeeee Nice One

The question is - if you are lucky enough to obtain PR, how long do you have to enter NZ before it expires?

Any and all advice is very gratefully received.

Oops Embarassed - just seen nickbraddock's very same question only posted today too (told you my searching skills weren't up to much) so now know (via Graham Barnes) you get 12 months to enter NZ after PR/EOI approved.

I think I'm just the sort of scatterbrain NZ must have a shortage of.............. maybe I can start a new skills category Nutcase

Yep

Leontars right

After you are granted PR you have 12 months to arrive in the country regardkess of whether you have a job or not.

If you were granted PR on account of having a job offer you must take up the job offer withtin 3 months of touching down in NZ.
