Hello,
I have a couple of question regarding the Applicant's Recognised Qualifications section.
I have been trying to fill out as best as I can, but I'm confused on these particular questions...
"F5. What is the reference number, type and level assessed by NZQA?
Reference number ....."
What to answer in this question, is it the same as my school accreditaion
The other question is
"F6. What New Zealand qualification was your qualification assessed as
being comparable to?"

Hello! These are the very same ones that tripped me up!
For the F5 -
"F5. What is the reference number, type and level assessed by NZQA?

Yes, that is what I put down.
The other question is
"F6. What New Zealand qualification was your qualification assessed as
being comparable to?"
If I remember correctly, this was not a mandatory answer question, and I skipped it. In my case, I had a diploma from college, and I just picked "Diploma" from the pull down chart for answer choices on F5.
Again, this was one of those things where I just crossed my fingers, made the best guess I could, and hoped that I would have the chance to explain to a live person someday soon, if questions came up.

Thank's so much for replying my question...about question F5 I actually put my school accreditation. I'm just not sure.
About F6, I don't remember if that mandatory or not...but I will check...
Anyone has other input? |

Hi both, on the online version you should only complete F5 & 6 if you have had your qualifications already assessed by NZQA, which I guess you haven't. The reference number is from NZQA, same with being comparable to a NZ qual - you don't know this until NZQA tell you.
Might be a good idea to print off the hard copy from the forms section before completing online, (questions are numbered differently but still the same) as when you answer 'no' to having your qual assessed it would tell you to skip those questions. |
