"Visa Required???!!"

Okay - I'm seldom flummoxed but, having just booked our flights from London Heathrow to Auckland via Singapore, we have found that the agent has written "visa required" on the invoice!!! Nutcase

Now, surely Brits don't require any sort of visa to enter NZ?!

Now there's a coincidence, I was just checking this out myself. See the attached link (hope it works, I am not the most IT literate person in the world), as a Brit you should not need a visitors visa but may need a visitors permit (unless you are entering under as other than a visitor?).

Yep, that's exactly what I thought and, indeed, had read on the NZIS site - just a tad worrying when a "qualified" travel agent seems to be lacking in this knowledge!! Eek

I haven't heard anything at work to suggest that anything has changed. I'm sure they would let me know as they know where I will be heading, eventually. Dave and I were there in April without visas and he flew back in May without a visa.

Somebody has got their wires crossed somewhere. Rolling Eyes
