Just to say that I have just been reading the last batch of emails in the forum and was delighted that all the last emails are not knocking the U.K. Having been a few other places in the world its not the worst. We are in the lucky position of having our visa and are getting ready to move out early next year, our reasons for going are fairly similar to most peoples, but we are realistic. People are the same mix everywhere and where ever you live (especially if its a city) theres going to be good and bad.
Its very hard to be away from family, especially if you have young kids but email and the phone are great ways of keeping up with everyone. Was glad to read the comments about computors, thats really helpfull.  what else has anyone found to be of benefit to take or wished they had left behind. cheers Veronica |

| Hi, we are heading for Canterbury area because they have Mountains there (Essex is a bit short of them) and I work in the ski and snowboard industry. What situation are you in, There, on your way or just hoping. regards Veronica. |

Hi Veronica, somewhere between just hoping and on my way. I've never been to NZ before and so I'm planning to move around both islands for a year or so doing supply teaching work to see which part suits me best.  |
