Reporters' salaries in NZ

Hi everyone!

I'm a 25-year-old reporter living in the U.S., and I am eligible to submit an expression of interest for migration to New Zealand.

However, I'm hoping one of you could tell me how much reporters make in New Zealand. I've checked all of the government's websites, along with several others, and I haven't found anything conclusive.

I've got experience in just about all aspects of journalism, from graphic design to reporting in both print and radio formats, so I'm very flexible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try here. most seem to earn NZ$50-70,000. some more, more less.

In the same vein, I've got a seven-year background in magazines - writing, editing, proofreading, laying out, image manipulation etc.

I realise that moving to Wellington rather than Auckland is going to make finding this type of work harder, but can anyone tell me what my career prospects and salary expectations might be there? I'd be very grateful.
