Scared .........................!

Hi

I've just been offered a job in NZ, work visa is not a problem and checked out my points total on the NZ web site for PR Rolling Eyes

and it should be between 160 - 165 points. It's something we've talked about for a while just seems very scary when the offers on the table. Lots to think about especially at 01:30 in the morning UK time.

Any advice????

I think i know how you feel, i have felt many emotions during planning to emigrate and scared is definately one of them, i'm going to overcome that one though Yes

Oh there are always lots of things to think about at 1 30 and 2 30 and 3 30 and it will get worse but its all worth it if its what you really want.

You have a job offer BEFORE you go most people on here don't have that, my husband being one of them. Enjoy the huge piece of mind that brings and go for it.

Yes it is scarey,and when you see the visa in your passport it then becomes real.You will think about it all day&night....it's like a rollercoaster going flat out, and you can't get off!!
But now you've started you must go for it, because you will regret it later!

If it helps at all, I'm actually a Kiwi but get scared at times at the thought of the whole big move Eek

. We're only at the beginning of it all and at times I feel like saying 'nah, lets just stay put' (lets face it, that's the easy option!). But then I think about what we want from life and for our kids and realise NZ has alot more to offer than London.

This is a great place for gaining inspiration - just read the stories of those that are already there!! This is where I come when I get scared!!

Im in the same position as you with a job/business offer already, have done as much thinking as I can, in fact I'm all thought out Nutcase

. But the main thing is you've got to give it a go or you'll be forever wondering... what if.... Confused

We are going for it, have filled in the EOI but are waiting for my trade certs to be OKed by the NZQA fingers crossed

, that being ok, off we go. cool

as fast as poss.
