I was wondering whether anyone had noticed damage (especially mildew) on clothing transported by sea? (UK to NZ)
In truth I have very little worth taking but, being pushed for space on my container, would throw away the clothing if it would not transport well.
We will be leaving in Early Jan so anticipate a nice warm arrival.
Any advice gratefully received....
Rob
PS: Anyone else going out to NZ on 6th Jan from Heathrow? |

Hi Robert,
We shipped clothes in poly bags and they arrived in perfect condition. |

Hi Robert
Try throwing in those little silica gel packets that are often packed in with hi-fi equip and electronic equipment, with the packed clothes.
This will absorb some of the moisture inside the container
good luck
