Hi all

Following a handy tip on the forum I tried my TV prior to buying a VCR as a tuner and found it worked fine. Sound and picture both ok. Nice One

FYI mine is a phillips 32pw9525 and although already obsolete is only 18 months old.

I should think it well worth enquiring of your manufacturer if your set will work in NZ before considering disposal.

Thanks for giving us hope!

We are moving the TV and everything else with the 'it'd better work' philosophy. We have run out of time to be checking things. Will report on arrival in April how this practise works!
