One of the features of life in a little country that can be both endearing and infuriating is how small, insignificant local matters can be blown up a lot on TV news.
One of the stories featured tonight though is not so "little". The 290 metre long Star Princess has docked in Tauranga. At twice the length of the Titanic she's apparently the largest passenger ship afloat.
During the cruising season, the Star Princess will visit Auckland four times and make six visits to each of Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Fjordland National Park.
If only I could afford it.........  |
