Hi All
We arrived here 4 months ago when my husband got his work permit. I was issued my work permit as I was supported by my husband (you can get this even if you don't want to work) and I applied for my daughters' student visa at the same time. She had already started school by this point, the school just wanted a copy of my our passports and to see my husbands work Visa. Up until July 5th this sevice was possible same day, but now has to be done by post, which is a good way to avoid having to queue outside the immigration office at 4am!! |

Hi
My hubby was issued with a work visa back in May, and my understanding is that I can now be issued with an "open" work visa, and the kids have student visas. All of which I will have to apply for when I get back, as I didnt have the foresight to have marriage and birth certificates with me.
Hope this helps |
