Hi All

I am in the process of gathering docs to submit to NZIS after having received the Invitation letter uder the SMC.

I am thinking of submitting them all in a folder with colour separators pages with the headings as required ie CHARACTER, IDENTITY, HEALTH, QUALS etc. This file will contain all originals .

There will be a cover letter and a table of contents for the benefit of the case officer so that they browse the contents easily.

I will also submit an identical folder but with photocopies so that NZIS can retain the whole folder or pull out bits that they require.

The reason is that I find it too difficult to have certified copies for all originals ie: quals, identity, work experience ( runs into more than a few pages)

I seek guidance from people who have already submitted the documents so that I can draw on the joint experience and wisdom of our forum members.

Your help is much appreciated.

I put everything of mine in one folder and ordered it according to the numbered letter sent to me by my case officer.

I got all of my documents certified by a solicitor apart from the passports because NZIS will need them to put the visa in. I also sent our original marriage certificate becasue it would not copy very clearly.

Obviously you need to send original, police certificates and medicals also.

I really did want to send my original degree certificates off because they are irreplacable.

I did copy everything for the case officer though, but placed it all in one folder.

Horses for courses I suppose.
