hi ya
just a short note to let you all know that the family and i moved up to paihia last saturday, move went well, and we are now settled in one great looking area of new zealand.
our eldest daughter started school on monday, our youngest starts kindy on wednesday, and the work is looking fine, no worries, as they say over here.
so thanks to all of you for your help and guidance during the time i have been a member here, youve all been a great help, and if its just been reading about other peoples experiances, or asking for advice i have found it all here. so heres a great big thanks from my family to you all.
and in particular to mr karlsmith, a mind of knowledge on NZ if ever i've met one, CHEERS MATE, and to our glorious leader JCM, many thanks for providing us all with one hell of a web site well done
i will be hanging around this site for a long while yet, if i'm not playing with the kids on the beach, or going fishing, or exploreing the countryside
etc etc etc etc, O and working as well, damn wanted to forget that bit. |

Volusia...well done!
I was reading your story on one of the threads and I must say that took a lot of courage to do what you did. I certainly do not have the risk tolerance and guts to make such a bold move.
Unfortunately, for every success story, there is a horror story. We heard quite a few while staying at a very good friend in Auckland who works for a migrant resource organization.
If all goes well, my family and I will be in Whangarei in October.
Regards
Peter |

Hi Volusia!
Thanks for the invite you're on!
I had friends who lived in Long Eaton. My wife and I scoured nottigham for a particular type of Dupion Silk fabric for her wedding dress, and I used to pass through more recently to see clients in and around the area. Also used to visit Centre Parcs each year with my Am-Dram society!
