If you have a UK mobile phone it is definately worth bringing it with you.
If you have had it for more than 12 months you can get it unlocked to accept any network sim cards (02 charge £15, we did it here for $35).
Telecom NZ dont use Sim cards but Vodaphone do so we connected to Vodaphone on a Pay as you Go scheme for $35 which was for the sim card, connection, $5 worth of credit and there was an extra $10 credit voucher if we completed a questionnaire.
Much cheaper than buying a new phone!! |
