Just wondering which shipping company from the UK gets the most positive votes? If I haven't listed yours and they were great let me know! Info on bad experiences welcome too
I'm not particularly looking for the cheapest, just whoever you had a good experience with
Thanks! |

We are going with crown, got a quote from Whites and hard to choose between the 2 but went for Crown. Impressed so far, friendly and helpful will let you know how we go on with the actual move.
One tip, haggle the prices quoted are not cast in stone

How about an ENZ moderator or site owner contact a few of these removal companies and ask them for a "special rate" for ENZ Forum Members... would give them alot of free publicity! |

I found them all expensive!!!
Anyway, PSS and Pickfords came in at around 5100 to auckland from Chesterfield. that was for a 20' container and the transport of my MGBGT.
I have pre-packed everything so I asked for a reduction.. they offered 100 pounds off!!
I have found another shipping company. They are providing me with a 40' container to the door. I fill and secure this and they help me strap down the MG. All for 2450 pounds!! only 1800 pounds for a 20' container.
I have to hire a luton van or something at the other end but that will only be another 100 quid.
If you ask me, some of these high profile companies that you see at the NZ Expo etc... are rip off merchants.
If anyone wants the name of the shippers I used, let me know.

We've booked Whites for next Monday.
They've seemed alright so far.

Just post it, I'm sure people may want to know and it will save you answering a load of PMs. |
