From what I'm reading in this application form, it seems like it would be fairly easy to go over as a visitor, then apply for a VOC. On the VOC application, the section asking for details about the employment is as follows:
Complete if details are available
Job title:
Employer's name:
Location:
Hours:
Dates:
Considering the bit in italics, wouldn't it be possible to apply, specifying only the location and dates? What is the likelihood of NZIS granting one who does this a VOC, even if it's limited to jobs such as busboys, dishwashers, etc.?

| I think it will only allow part-time work, up to 15hrs or something, but not sure on the likelyhood of getting it. May be for special cases, think it's used more for students wanting to earn a few dollars.. |
