I find that my one-piece latex suit helps! Laughing Embarassed

It also keeps the wee biting blighters off you, an added bonus............mind you the weights and tank are a bit cumbersome and it makes you sweat a lot Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

DEET is wonderful but very very strong, so be sparing with it, and it can melt plastics, so keep it away from trainers etc! Worked for us last year on a round the world tour Clapping

Avon's skin-so-soft in woodland flavour is another favourite - aparently the US soldiers swear by that one - and less potent.

My top tip is this - wear fragrance-free deodorants etc and don't wear perfume. The more you make yourself like a flower the more they are going to pop over for a sniff! Smile Eek Smile

Don't worry too mucha bout bright colours as insects don't see colour the way we do and so they aren't always the insect-attractor they might seem. I agree about the flourescent thing tho - they see flourescent and ultraviolet so avoid anything like that!

Good luck Razz
