Hi,
we are looking to sell up and emigrate to NZ over the next couple of years. We both hold scientific degrees and have ayoung daughter, does anyone know of any good information sources for scientific work/ lab management and what are the first steps on the process of applying to live in NZ,

You could try the uni's for scientific work.
Best to go to NZ house in Piccadily Circus for info.
have a look at the nzherald on weds, the papers are on lower floor.
Or have a look at the website for jobs etc

You're in a LOT of good company on this forum, glad you found it!
You will find a wealth of information about almost everything NZ here...and then some! The search feature is very good about pointing you to the answers you may be looking for. It's at the top of this and all pages (next to the magnifying glass icon).
The New Zealand Immigration Service website is where you start the process. Although often written in "government speak" you will usually be able to find the answers to all of the technical bits about immigrating. These good people can be found
