Yep. That laid back and then some. Mind you, I dont think the shoe less thing counts in the winter.
It is not really acceptable to go wandering into bars or eateries wearing nothing but swimmers, but casual is THE byword. |

It does, amazingly.
There's a woman who lives on the opposite side of my street who I've never seen wearing shoes. She even goes into town on the bus barefoot. It's actually pretty common to see people here walking around in public places in bare feet. |

ha ha ha - that's EXACTLY what i do.. how did you know?! as a matter of fact i've had the same pair of smart shoes for 7 years, because i wear them so rarely
