Hi all!
Having serious trouble to find answers to this question:
We plan to travel to NZ where my husband hopefully gets
a workpermit after doing jobsearch 
I would love to study in NZ starting next year in February.
Can we do this? What about permits, because I' ve read that
if I have a study permit, my husband and kids can only stay in
NZ on a visitors or study permit. 
Is there a way for me to study while my husband works?

| Once he has secured a job he can apply for a work permit regardless of what permit you have. All it means is that if someone is entering on a study visa then partner/children would be eligible for visitor's visas, but it doesn't mean they can't change status. |
