|
|
Hi All
I just read the NZIS web site on WTR via a POL job offer. It says that permanent residence can be applied for after 2 years if you are still employed in a POL.. Anyone any idea at all what would happen if they suddenly decide that my skills are NO longer a Priority Occupation, say after 18 months of starting.
After all it is kind of what happened in the UK
any feedback welcomed.
cheers

Hi Alex,
I'm on the POL too, so I looked into this.
As far as I can tell, if you are still in your original POL occupation after 2 years, you can apply for PR regardless of whether it has been taken off in the meanwhile; i.e. it depends on the list at the start of your two years, not at the end. |
