I love this forum, and I used to read almost every topic, but then there got to be so much info! Which is good! So, my answer would be, maybe separate headings, along the lines of the 'How much do things cost' section.
I am still looking for pet info other than shipping companies - I want to hear a success story from someone with a small pet - and my pet question got buried a long time ago. But still, "I love you just the way you are!"

Hi JCM,
Yes, with all of the activity I think establishing headings for "major" subjects would really work well.
It's pretty easy to boil down the big ones, maybe the top ten, and then perhaps have an "other" heading that would allow people to just talk about the weather or whatever.
Thanks for the opportunity to have our say and keep up the good work! |

Maybe the possibility of searching by catchword would be a good way to find the topics we are searching for. |

| i can see some merit in having a couple more sections but sometime the conversations take a turn away from the original discussion and interesting snippets about other things come in so a lot of things would be hard to classify. |

Hey JCM,
I have to say the site it becoming a little repetitive in places because people are posting topics that are already on the site, but are obviously hard to find. It would be great if there were some other sections where it would be much easier to find the relevant info.
Go for it! |

After a couple of months membership I notice the 'search' button.
I know, I 'm Belgian and I'm blond too, but I'll do my best to become a smart girl!
You're doing a great job, JCM!! |

I agree with Dan-ish, the forum is becoming a little repetitive in places.
Just a few more headings would be nice. Not too many, because that can be a bit of a conversation killer.
Cheers. |

Thanks for your comments everyone.
I've made one or two changes, in accordance with the poll results. This poll had a rather low turnout compared with some others though, so perhaps most people aren't too bothered.
If you think there's a pressing need for any other categories, fire away, but I don't want to upset the apple cart by making too many changes too quickly. |

JCM,
Definately a good move to split into a before the move and after you've moved set up as you have done. We are mainly looking at NZ itself as we have not been there and not at the immigration process.
A thumbs up from us!

Hi JCM and his web site designers
As most people have by now noticed the site is splitting into numerous sections, which is great as the sections really help to split things up and make room for more in depth discussion
However, i have a small ask is there away to notify you of new posts and and answers when you log in each time instead of trawling through the new sections looking for new threads. It was easy with the last set-up because there was only one section, but now it takes ages. I was thinking about something similar to the RX7 forum found at http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/index.php?s= |

to find new posts what i do is click on "View posts since last visit". this is on the first page where you can see all the different forums. it's near the top on the right hand side along from the part on the left which says "You last visited on". |
